Employment Support at JTM Haven House is designed for adults who are ready to work but feel stuck on where to start. I sit down with you to map out realistic job options, taking into account your background, strengths, and transportation.

Together we work on job-search strategies, online applications, and resumes that tell your story honestly without letting your past define you. I also help you prepare for interviews-what to wear, how to talk about gaps in work history, and how to answer tough questions without freezing up.

When possible, I connect residents with workforce programs and employers who are open to people rebuilding after incarceration, homelessness, or treatment. The aim is not just landing any job, but finding stable work that can support future housing.

With stable housing and structured support in place, you can focus on showing up, keeping employment, and gradually improving your financial footing. This program meets you where you are and walks with you as you work toward a steadier income.
